Finally, Ambode accepts defeat.

Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi AMbode, just addressed the state. In his speech, Governor Ambode accepted the result of the state governorship primaries that took place yesterday October 2nd.

He congratulated the winner, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and asked everyone to work with him to ensure he emerges victorious come 2019.

Governor Ambode also thanked the party's national leader, Bola Tinubu for his support throughout the years. This also quashed talk of rift between the incumbent and the former governor of the state.
